So, we ventured out on Monday. And folks, I'll never go to the zoo on a holiday again! haha! There were so many people it was ridiculous! In fact, it was so crowded that walking was almost impossible as well as getting up close to see any of the attractions. But, we stayed and we enjoyed what we could.
The Princesses visiting the Tropical exhibit, where we did encounter Zoboo! :)
Alexander was quite content the whole day with only a few fuss's when hungry.
The girls fed deer and jumped, hopped and skipped as often as they could.
We saw Kangaroos and Elephants, Monkeys and Tortises.
Nikita the Polar Bear was the biggest attraction and very neat! He is 3.5 years old and weighs 700 pounds. He's new to our Zoo and loves a crowd! He learned to do this backflip off the glass on his own and did it over and over until the faces of the children melted away. The girls loved him.
Meerkats and Seal Lions too!
And so much more! It was a very long day, but well worth the adventure!
Feel free to wonder over to our Flickr page to view all of the photos from the day, including more action shots of Nikita flipping his heart away for the crowd.

Yes, the zoo on a holiday or the first day of a school break is ridiculous! I like to go when it looks like rain. No one is there, lol.
Oh my goodness I love the picture of the sealion, too funny! Great photos. Glad everyone had a great time.
