PhotoStory Friday- Cousins

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Last weekend we were able to visit our cousins to help celebrate Levi's 4th Birthday! It was so much fun and so nice to see everyone again. We tried getting photos of the cousins together. Between my camera NOT cooperating (MUST replace it soon) and 4 children ranging in age from Newborn to Four, it was a little tough. I had 9 shots of this pose and in each one all of them were doing something different. That's what makes a great photo though, right?

At least none of them were mad or upset when we took them.

Emily (10 Mnths), Izabel (2 1/2 Yrs), Levi (4 Yrs), Brooklyn (8 Wks)

Being close enough to family to go to things like birthdays is something I took for granted! Enjoy these times! happy birthday little man.

That last shot of Levi and Izabel is PERFECT. What a fun cousin shot!!

They're cute! My favorite, though, is the hand coming over the back of the couch in the first shot. Is that Thing, from the Addams Family, or is it an adult trying to be helpful and inconspicuous at the same time?

That last shot is so cute. I love the way Izzy has her arm stretched up around him!

Wow! A kiddie photo where everyone is looking in same direction and not screaming/crying/running away... You have some skill, lady!

Teach me your ways :-)

Great PSF! Have a good weekend!

i'm assuming you're going to photoshop that hand out of it? just kidding... believe me, i know how hard it is to get a "group shot" of kids. you did well!

Getting lots of kids to cooperate for pictures is like herding cats! I think you did a pretty good job of catching them.

So sweet! And yes - it's impossible to get more than one child to smile at the same time...good thing I've (sort of) learned the art of chopping off heads and replacing them with a smiling one! :-) LOL.

Very cute pictures! And I can imagine it is pretty difficult to shoot 4 under 4!! Great job though

It is a challenge getting just one to cooperate. I saw someone who photoshoped the good bits of a few photos for one somewhere. Izabel and Levi are cute together.

Hey I give you bonus points for none of them screaming. Groups of kids for pictures always seem to have at least one crying in it for me. ;)

There's just nothing like being close to cousins!

I just saw the video of Emily walking - amazing - she's just a bit older than the twins. It'll be awhile before they're getting around like that. Can you imagine how much fun that's going to be??!!

Sorry I've not visited in a few days. I've been under the weather but am feeling some better today and doing what I can to catch up. How fun to see that you’ll be celebrating YOUR 3rd Blogoversary soon! I hope I last that long and beyond ;--)

Both photos are precious … and I suspect the others you took and didn’t share are precious too. How wonderful that you live close enough to celebrate together like this.
Hugs and blessings,
