My husband and I have had to learn quite a bit about budgeting and our finances since buying a home and having only one income while I stay at home with the girls.

I came upon a website that is very user friendly and I was able to take this quiz to determine what our financial IQ was. Are we financially fit? I think it's safe to say that we are, however, there is always room for improvement.

The quiz goes through five categories; Credit, Debt, Budget, Wealth, and Life Plan. I believe the most important category for us was Life Plan. While we do put money into the children's piggy banks and savings accounts, we need to do more. We need to focus on saving up for our children and making sure they have money for school and reserves.

The quiz is FREE and compares your scores to show where you stand according to where you live, gender and a few others. The website also has suggestive outlets for help in areas you need it, such as keeping informed about your credit score and what it means.
