And then, almost 3 years to the day, Izabel sprained her ankle.
They gave her a very cool "moon boot" to keep it safe.
March 15th, the day of the accident.
But, it still hurt a week later. And it still looked quite swollen. It turns out, she actually broke her ankle. Specifically, the growth plate in her Fibula.
March 28th, 2011, the day of casting.
Another cast, on a different leg, in the same color. :)She has a matching pair now and I'm hoping it's the last.
Finally catching back up to Cecily this week at PhotoStory Friday! I've missed her and am so glad she's back. Go over and check her awesomeness! :)

I know what you mean! I missed Cecily when she was gone also! I can't believe your little sweetie keeps getting injured. Poor baby : ) Her cast sure looks awesome though! LOVE it!
She's such a trooper! I'm with you...let's just hope this is it for her and purple (or any color for that matter) casts.
Oh, and I love the processing you did in her moon boot shot. Very pretty. :)

Oh, poor thing... at least they gave her a cool purple cast. :) I remember back in the days when the casts were boring white.
Got to love a purple cast! In the old days they were just white and used to get so grimy looking. Hope this is the last one for her though! Gorgeous picture of all three of your precious babies!!

Aww it's no fun when they get hurt... especially AGAIN. Bless her heart. Hope it heals fast, and is the last time for sure :)

Oh my! I cringed looking at the pic of her ankle; looks so painful! She looks so brave too. Purple is my favorite color :) Hope she heals quickly!
