Tucker Update

Tucker's Mommy has been updating all day, but I wanted to hop on for a moment and let my followers know as well.

Today is day 9 post surgery. Tucker's doctors thought today would be a good day to try and attempt to wake Tucker again. Previous attempts have failed, but everyone knows we are all on Tucker Time now. *smiles*

At Mommy's last update, Tucker has been off the paralytic meds for about 6 hours. Sedation meds continue, but taking the paralytic meds off board allow Tucker to come around a bit and move, breath more on his own and be more aware.

6 hours into the "awakening process" and Tucker has spiked a fever. Tylenol has been administered and they have sent out for a culture to make sure there is no infection looming somewhere. If the doctors cannot break Tucker's fever, they will have to begin paralytic meds again.

Please pray for Tucker and his family today, as this is a very scary part of recovery. Send your good vibes and encouraging thoughts Tucker's way to give him strength for this part of his journey.
