Gone With The Wind

There's no sense in apologizing this time, because it's the same as always.

I've been neglecting my blog and yours!

Let's just say it's a Summer thing and until I'm forced to stay indoors because of the frigid temps, I'm going to be running with these two.

Izabel, Field Day

Emily, Field Day

On a side note, here are the highlights from the last couple of days, Bullet Star style.

*We tried moving Emmy into a big girl bed since we just celebrated 18 months. Um, it didn't work and the crib's front rail was reattached. She didn't find sleep necessary rather she would get up and play all night.

*Emmy's also been mean and cranky. I think it's a molar having trouble coming through, but regardless, she's a biter, scratcher and flat out bully. I've not had to go through this before, Izzy skipped all of that. Suggestions??

*Izabel's working on writing her name and getting very good. She loves to color and draw so the fridge has really become quite the collection of her art. She's also been singing more than usual. Lately this one can be heard from rooms away. Emmy's still going with Twinkle and tonight she started singing this one.

*We've been hanging outside a lot. Izzy's been helping pull weeds and Emmy walks around finding "spyduhs" and bugs. She's defiantly pulling off the New York accent very well.

*We have some trips planned and coming up soon and a huge company picnic as well as a trip to the zoo next week. It's going to be a busy Summer but well worth it.

Lots of little things happening and more planning too. I'm still desperately trying to find a way to get back to Florida this year. I don't suppose anyone has a nice little beach house they'd want to let us borrow for a couple of days? Near Clearwater maybe?? All Izabel has been talking about is shells and sand, crabs and the sea! It's a dream of hers now, to walk the sandy shores once again. Momma's on a mission!

I'm working on something good for Wordless Wednesday. I haven't a clue what it will be, but I'm going to hope for the best.

Happy Tuesday!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the encouraging words. Lots of pe.ple are outside instead of blogging right now. Totally understandable.

Oh how I wish I had advice for you. Diva (2.5 yrs old) is a total bully. She hits and bites and kicks and fights ... it's horrible. She's only this way with Racer (5 yrs old) and sometimes with me or my husband). I can't blame it on teeth because she has hers :( She just refuses to listen and to stop.

So I totally hear ya on that one *hugs*

Cant wait to see all the pictures from your zoo trip and other adventures! We'll be checking out several things near the end of July; zoos, lion safari, butterfly conservatory, etc.

Oh, and "Gone With the Wind" is totaly my favourite movie ever. That's where Diva got her name from teehee.

When Emmy's mean and cranky, try Tylenol. It's so hard when they can't tell you they're hurting, but even with my 8 year old I find a dose of pain killer (even if he's not verbalizing he's hurting), can make a big difference.

I completely understand about blog neglect. I'm having a really hard time finding the balance between "life" and blogging.

I love the photos of the girls they look so beautiful. I'd rather be outside too than inside blogging.

My youngest did the biting thing too. We had a lot of time outs for a while. We practiced writing I'm sorry as well (wrote a note to the one he bit.)
