PhotoStory Friday - Happy Hunting!

Izzy 'N Emmy, PATS Easter Egg Hunt, April 08, 2009

On Wednesday, the girls had an Easter Egg Hunt at playgroup. It was quite the event. Each child brought so many eggs to contribute and then they were all placed in a basket and hidden outside. It was a lot of fun!

Izzy has had practice in the past for egg hunts, so we knew she would jump right in to go in search of those pretty colored pieces of plastic. Emmy on the other hand has never experienced an egg hunt outside of her infant car seat. Well folks, she had no problem. She knew exactly what to do and what the object of the game was. lol!

If the rain will stop for a bit (highly unlikely) we will be having another egg hunt on Saturday and our own little one here at the house on Sunday. Happy Easter!

More photos from the hunt can be found over at FLICKR! And of course, Easter 2008!

And don't forget to enter my Kids's Pack giveaway! It's super yummy!

Well, I guess you could always hide some eggs inside the house, in case of rain. But I hope you have sunshine and blue skies :)

What fun, my kids needed a little help figuring out the object of the game. Once they knew to look for eggs, they had to sit down and eat the first thing they found.

What fun!!

I think I'll have to have an egg hunt for my (not so) little guy on Sunday. We usually just hide their basket, but this looks like so much fun.

Those are such precious pictures. Egg Hunts are just so much fun for kids, aren't they? We're going to one at church tomorrow and having one here on Sunday as well, and my kids just can not wait.

Thinking of you.

Oh, how fun! We had several practice egg hunts this week. I think my youngest finally has it down! :)

How old are your girls, if you don't mind me asking? They look to be the same ages as mine.

Oh my goodness! What cutie pies they are!! I just filled those plastic eggs with goodies for my grand kids and put them in their Easter baskets. Hope you get some good weather so that you can have your hunt outside! We had sun today but have had lots of rain and clouds recently.
