Christmas Eve, 2008

The stockings were stuffed and the tree overwhelmed by wrapped gifts.

We spent Christmas Eve with Gama, Papa and Uncle Doc. The girls received some lovely gifts after dinner and then wound down the night playing with all of them. The girls were still feeling kind of yucky but they made it through all of the wrapping paper.

Some of the things they received were: Fur Real Chipmunk, Bouncing Tigger, V Motion with Wall-E and Dora, Lounge Chair, Little Pet Shop, Sleep Beauty DVD, Clothes, Lunch Bags, Motion Gears, Vibrating Dog, Missouri State Jerseys, Princess Babies, Candy Lane Game, Princess See 'n Say, and a few other things.

Daddy and I made out pretty good as well. We received a BluRay DVD player with the Batman, jewlery, purse, tools, Home Deopt Gift Card and more.

Thank you Gama, Papa and Uncle Doc for having us over and all of the wonderful gifts.

Once we left, we headed home with the girls already in their matching Christmas jammies. We knew they would fall asleep but Emmy went first and Izzy watched out the window for any signs of Santa and his reindeer. She drifted off. We made it home and quietly put them in their beds and then began to prepare to Santa's arrival.

All of the gifts were brought out of hiding and placed around the tree. There were so many gifts to arrange and a few more that had been delivered while we were out to wrap. We had no idea there was so many gifts. I was elated to see how things looked but disappointed that I wasn't able to get a shot of the entire tree with all the gifts. The gifts spun around 3/4 of the tree and almost half way up. It was an amazing sight to see. In fact, there were so many gifts that Santa had to leave a big stack under the girls' tree in their room.

We are forever grateful to the many who made our Christmas special this year. Family, Friends, Santa and Strangers Blogging Friends gave so much; Thank you.

If it's anything like my house it's still sitting in the living room and the bedroom floors! Hope you've had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Your tree looks like ours. Now we are trying to find a place to put all of Kaden's new toys. We still haven't gotten them all out. I am sure the girls were excited to see what Santa brought them!!!

Good golly! I don't think I've ever seen that many presents under and by a tree and we had six kids! Wow! The girls should have plenty to entertain them.
