Room By Room- Shop With me

Even before I had children, I was never quite in touch with my decorating side. I had the vision but my vision and the end product never quite matched up. Although we are still remodeling, I know what I want and I am going to get there; eventually.

LomBok just so happens to have a few things I want. Okay, more than a few things! The first part of my decorating plan is organization. With children, there's a lot to organize. We have hundreds of books, both children's and adult, and some very nice bookcases would suit us very well. LomBok's Don Juan bookcase is my favorite. It's both wide and tall and would hold quite a bit of our library. Not to mention it's a beautiful color and made from new and reclaimed Indonesian Teak. The drawers at the bottom of the shelf would also be utilized well to hold random items that need not be seen on a daily basis. My living room would look fabulous with the Don Juan Bookcase as the main piece of my decorating scheme.

Next we move onto the dining room, which to me is the most important room in my home. I have big plans for my dining room. Vintage Tin panels for the ceiling, a very nice dangling light fixture, red on the walls and chair railing to make it cozy. The dining room's focus is of course the table. So why not add nice touches to the table to help bring out the warmth a dining room holds by adding candle holders from LomBok. Candles can make any meal magnificent. I really like the Turned Wood Candle Stands. Made from Indian Hard Woods, these candle holders would be the perfect accent to my table. You could dress them up during different seasons or leave them plain and simple for everyday use. I like the different heights and the the way they are shaped is beautiful.

Finally, Hubby and I's bedroom could use a little love. Ideas have not been coming to me for our bedroom, however when I saw these throws from LomBok, the electricity began flowing. My favorite is the Linen Embroidered Quilt. Oh the dreams I could have curled up under this lovely throw. It's bordered in velvet and the sunflower border is hand stitched!

Just meandering through LomBok's website made me realize how much we need to jump on the decorating wagon. I love the look of their furniture and the many pieces they have to offer seem to easily coordinate with each other. There's nothing better than one stop shopping right? Take a moment to hope on over to LomBok's and have a look around.
Maybe you'll be inspired to change a room in your home.

oooohhh I love shopping. :-) Can't do much of that these days though.

But I so love that bookcase. Like I'm in love with it. And the name of it made me think of Johnny Depp in Don Juan DeMarco. But I digress.

I also love that quilt.

Great choices for the family and the house!!!!
