Renaissance Festival
Saturday we went to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival and met up with Micah and her family. The festival has really grown and there was so much to see. We met up with Micah and spent some time chatting. Izabel was fascinated with baby Kinsley and wanted to hold her as soon as we walked up to them. Micah was very kind and let Izzy hold Kinsley for a moment. After that Izabel just wanted to sit next to her and touch Kinsley. She rubbed her cheeks and ran her fingers through Kinsley's piggy tail. I am not sure she pays that much attention to Emmy!
There was so much to see at the Festival. Not to mention there were tons and tons of people! Emmy slept off and on throughout the entire time we were there but Izabel was able to ride the rides and run around like a crazy kid!
We sampled some of the best food, including Apple Dumplings and Cheesesteak Fries. We are not fans of the giant Turkey Leg, but there was plenty of those around too. It was definatly a great place to take the kids.
More photos of the festival can be found at FLICKR!
Thank you Micah and Family for everything!

It looks like you had a great time. I haven't been since Coltan and Cody were 2 and 3. I would love to find the time to take the boys sometime. I actually have a guy that runs all of the food, comes into my salon and he has offered me free tickets. If I can organize soccer, we might try to go.
I too would love to meet Micah and Kinsley! YOu are so lucky.
You are all so close to me (geographic wise) and would love to meet you all some day!

I didn't realize you were so close to KC...we lived in Leavenwort prior to TX. Shopping on Berry Road was my getaway! I loved Zona Rosa.
That last shot is AWESOME! Totally print out and frame-worthy.
Congrats on the bloggy bling! I feel so honored you forwarded it to me. Thanks!
Finally, love your new fall look. Do you keep a copy of the template of all your previous looks? LOL
Huzzah! It looks like you had a great time. xoxo
Oh my goodness. What a fun time. I'm hungry thinking about it!
This looks like SO much fun!!
I am so glad you all had such a wonderful time. There is so much to do, I was happy to hear you stayed till the end.
It was great to meet you! I love making new friends in blogger world, but I often want to meet in person. We should plan something for anyone in the KC area and see who all comes, that would be fun!
The pics are fabulous as always!
Take care and we will have to get together again soon!
Love and Hugs:)
I LOVE the KC Ren Fest!! It must be 10 years since I have gone. Looks like you had a fabulous time.
That's so great you guys got to go the Ren Faire! I so miss living close to one. Cute pictures, looks like they had fun even if the giant turkey leg was not a hit. We usually skipped on that too. ;)
It looks like everyone had a great time. Loved the photos.
