At 11:15pm on Wednesday night, August 6th, 2008, Brett Favre became a New York Jet. This was an important trade and a great way for the 2008-2009 Football season to begin.
I want you to know that your Daddy stayed up all night long refreshing the news until the trade was complete. If I hadn't been sleeping soundly next to you both, I might have seen a tear roll down his cheek.
This is going to be one of the most important football seasons of your life.
