Itsy Bitsy Hairy Spider

Daddy and I have found a new visitor lurking in the night alongside our dog's kennel. He's about the size of a half dollar and he is so.not.cute! From what we can gather, he's a common garden spider, but we've never seen him around here before. He's very prickly and looks mean as ever!

Greg caught a few shots of him in the night while he was weaving his huge web. It's quite amazing how fast he works to get it up but by morning, it's all taken down.
