Yesterday, Emily had her 4 month well baby check up. All went well and Emily is doing great for her age. She's rolling over too! Doc found 2 teeth on the brink of breaking gums, which is surprising since she's been in such a good mood. We are going to be able to start Rice Cereal at about 5 1/2 months. She will eat once a day for two weeks and then she can try oatmeal once a day for two weeks. If all goes well we are then to begin solids and only green veggies for right now. Slowly but surely. Emily received 4 shots and an oral vaccine yesterday. She really does hate the shots. The oral was part 2 of 3 for ROTA. She did great afterwards yesterday and went without Tylenol. She even slept through the night from 9pm to just after 6am. After eating she slept again until 930am. Her legs are bruised today and a little sore, so I finally gave her some Tylenol this afternoon. Final Results At 4 Months:
- Weight: 16 Pounds, 4 1/2 Ounces (94th Percentile)
- Length: 24 Inches (40th Percentile)
- Head Circumference: 16 3/4 Inches (94th Percentile)
Lets see what else? The girls have their PATS meeting tonight and playgroup in the morning. The PATS meetings are so much fun for Izabel. She's learning a lot of new ways to play too. As soon as I can, I'll scan in the new book we made for Izabel. It's very cool and made with things around the house. Emily's first real interaction was last week. I think she will be awake this week, but if not we work with her in the off time. She's just a couple of months away from begining some sign language lessons. We only taught Izabel some basic ones to assist with communication, but I'd like Emily to learn a little more than the basics. I'm very excited to begin that with her and I hope she enjoys it as well.
Daddy has finished the bathroom this week and the floor looks really good. We put another coat of stain on last night and it made a world of difference. I'm anxious to begin painting but I have a few other things that require my attention first. We have lots of painting to do inside and out, but I really hate to paint. We had some other contractors out this week to bid a few other things that need to be done. OMG! You'd be absolutely surprised at how much a little dirt moving and rock would cost. Just another thing to add to my to-do list, or in this case Honey-Do!
Nothing much else happening. Life is good. I've even managed to drink a few glasses of wine this week before bedtime. I've been sleeping wonders and thankfully, so have the girls. Although I can never remember when Izabel climbs into our bed to sleep at my feet! It's so funny to wake up and have a toddler holding your legs!
Oh and by the way, I have no idea, even after researching, why some of you are having difficulty with the page links. Wish I could fix it, but maybe it's a blogger thing. If you need some info on a link or something, just let me know.
