7 Days In Heaven

7 days have passed since Emmy was born. Things are going wonderfully. Emmy sleeps more than any baby I have ever seen and never cries unless she is hungry.

The pictures are a great way to show off the similarities and differences between the girls. Both of the these pictures were taken when each was 7 days old. Izabel weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and Emmy weighs 6 pounds, 15 ounces. Each has a red chin from the constant dabbing of formula. Izabel had very little fuzz on her head and Emmy maintains dark threads of hair mostly in the back. The shape of their heads is a real difference, but keep in mind that we attempted to push Izzy out the natural way. Izabel still has a very round, cherub like face. It appears Emily will have a longer more lean face. Both girls have a nice color, but Emily is much more red than Izabel was. Izabel was a very nice pink baby. The picture doesn't do her justice.
